When you first enter the Secret Shrine, go north to the back of the shrine (it's small), find the west wall and go south one from the north wall. Have Detect Magic up (there is an invis drow in this area with the onyx looking glass that has Detect Magic as an effect) and you will see a crest on the floor push this and the door opens leading down. From there, walk around, you'll see what looks like a Large Golem. That's the Veldri Warrior.

PP Prism Dragon and go 3esen. That will take you directly to the necromancer. Also, if you can get to the "southern entrance to the catacombs" room, then just go 3n, which will also take you directly to him. -Destal

to get to the catacombs, pp prism dragon. This area is a maze, so I just wandered around until I found the necromancer. It's easy to get lost, so set a recall at the dragon. You'll know you're getting close when you see fresh graves in the room descriptions. The necromancer himself may or may not be portable, but be careful trying.
