This is a caster's paradise. The majority of the tortugas are no-aggie, no-flee big juicy mobs that yield 100+ xp for a hero. It must be noted though that melee attacks are worthless here, so it's rare to see anyone but casters running through the area. A good PP and reference point for this area is [[Conian]], who is hidden. Casters, take some time before 101's statloss to learn the handful of aggie mobs in the area, and then you'll be gaining levels incredibly quickly.

Help text: 
The gnome village of Gnimh is far removed from the greater kingdom of the
gnomes. Originally established as an exploratory encampment years ago,
Gnimh has grown to be the point of contact between gnomes living in the
greater Midgaardian area, and their kin back home. In order to better
facilitate this an administrative complex was built, which later took on
the additional task of training the promising youth of the "frontier" in
the ways of diplomacy and scholarship.

The village itself boasts only a modest population, mostly comprised of
students and staff for the academy, most gnomes preferring to live quietly
in the surrounding countryside.
